Before you can really serve up a tasty poultry dish the right way, you need a few tips for grilling chicken. The trick? Start with the fire. Your fire is the beginning of the grilling process. Without a proper fire, you can not expect great results. And don’t for a second think this does not apply to you gas grillers! It does! How Many Briquettes? As a general rule of thumb, plan on using about 30 briquettes to cook 1 pound of meat. A standard five-pound bag contains 75 to 90 briquettes. You want to make sure that you have enough briquettes to cover the grills pan in a single layer and extending out about 2″ beyond the area of the food on the grill. The first step is to place the briquettes in the grills pan to determine the quantity and then stack them up in a rough pyramid shape to light. Soak the briquettes with approximately 1/2 cup of lighter fluid, and let set for a few minutes before lighting.

After the coals have begun to burn and ash starts to form, you will need to arrange them with long handled tongs into a single layer.

Once you have mastered even heating its time to step up to the professional level. A Pro likes to have a controlled temperature variation, a hot area and a not so hot area. In grilling this is called a two level fire. If you have a dual burner gas grill just set one burner on high and the other on medium. The advantage to this is that you will have one area to sear foods and another area to cook them through.

Grilled Chicken With Roasted Garlic Sauce

Yield: 6 Servings

6 boneless chicken breasts

-(about 1,1/2 pounds)

1/2 c lemon juice

2 cloves garlic

1 T red wine vinegar

1 t rosemary

1/4 c olive oil

1 salt and pepper To Taste

1 jar (28 ounces) Rag=FA Hearty

-Roasted Garlic Pasta Sauce

2 tb chopped fresh basil

2 tb chopped fresh parsley

Grilled crusty bread

Fresh herbs for garnish

-(optional)

Place chicken in a bowl with lemon juice, garlic, vinegar, rosemary, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Marinate in the refrigerator for several hours or overnight.

In a medium saucepan, heat sauce over low heat, stirring occasionally until heated through. Add fresh basil and parsley to the sauce just before serving. Meanwhile, preheat grill or broiler.

Grill chicken about 3-5 minutes per side or until chicken is thoroughly cooked.

Server grilled chicken with roasted garlic sauce of grilled crusty bread.

Garnish with fresh herbs.

Enjoy!

My Gift To You On The 1st Anniversary of MyCookery.com

Attraction Accelerator – An Interview With Bob Proctor On The Science of Getting Rich

Imagine if you can have anything that you want in your life…

* money, love, career, joy, health, peace, abundance.

What would you give to find out the secret?

There is no secret really, as popularized by the movie,The Secret, the law of attraction is as old as God himself….for it is also known amongst the purists, as the law of the universe…

That everything that comes into your life is what you attract to it, what you think, it becomes.

The challenge is to master this magical flow and it starts with your awareness and your mindset. If you want more money but your thoughts focus on debts, you give energy to the wrong thought and you wonder why the money doesn’t come? Believe that the law of attraction works, and it will work.

The Attraction Accelerator is a free special put together by my mentor, Stephen Pierce who interviewed Bob Proctor, the ultimate Guru on Law of Attraction (he is the Teacher featured in the movie, The Secret) where he shares his 40-year study of the science of getting rich.

Get the free report here, right click to save to your computer.

http://www.theinfopublishers.com/getrich/getrich.pdf
Bob Proctor made a profound statement which we must reflect upon:

There are people afraid, you know, If I quit my job,”I’ll lose my income”. Their income doesn’t come from their company. It comes through the company. The income comes according to their consciousness. And if it’s not coming from one source, it’ll come from another.

But If the Law of Attraction is as simple as that, why aren’t more people wealthy, even gratified about the state their lives are in?

The Answer is a Simple One.

There is an Exact Science to Applying the Law of Attraction to Build the Life You Seek. Can you imagine how many good intentions FAIL to manifest because of a lack of understanding of the Science of Getting Rich?

Does this sound like you?
* I’d like to be earning a far greater income.

* I want to provide more for my family.

* I sometimes worry about money.

* I work hard, but don’t see the income I desire.

* There are many things in life I want, but cannot afford.

* Without my current job, I have no other streams of income.

Well this is what the special report is about, can you afford not to find out. Right click to save to your computer.

http://www.theinfopublishers.com/getrich/getrich.pdf

With best wishes

When it comes to losing weight, we try to find ways to do it with little pain or discomfort. There is really an easy way to do it. Sure we can opt for the latest diet program or visit the gym or we can simply choose to find out what to eat to [...]

When it comes to losing weight, we try to find ways to do it with little pain or discomfort. There is really an easy way to do it. Sure we can opt for the latest diet program or visit the gym or we can simply choose to find out what to eat to lose weight.

Keeping a healthy diet is really one of the wisest decisions you could ever make to keep that weight off. This means eating food that contains a wide variety of foods which includes protein, carbohydrate and fat, as well as vitamins and minerals.

The needs of your body do not change just because you decide to lose weight. So eat sensibly and you can do this by planning your meals ahead of time. As with everything else in life, eat in moderation and according to your body needs, which can be determined according to your gender, age and metabolism. What is key is to be mindful of your calories intake from each type of food.

You do need to consume carbohydrate as it is a valuable source of energy. There are two types of carbohydrates – simple and complex. Complex carbo can be found in cereals, rice, potatoes, pasta and bread and this will serve us better than simple carbo which is found in sugar, chocolate, biscuits, ice cream and soft drinks. So consume your carbohydrate to maintain healthy digestive system and some may even lower cholesterol levels in the blood.

Another essential food is protein, which is useful for the growth, repair and maintenance of cells. Protein can be found in meat, eggs, beans, nuts, milk, fish and dairy products.

Good news is even if you are dieting, fats are still needed to balance your diet. Fats help to insulate and protect the body. What you need to look out for is unsaturated fats to derive this concentrated source of energy. What to eat to lose weight is to consume fats from olive oil, polyunsaturated spreads, oily fish and sunflower oil for your fats. This helps to reduce risk of increased cholesterol level in the blood which could lead to coronary heart disease.

Drink plenty of water at all times as it is vital for your body to function properly and contains no calories.

What you need to eat to lose weight is to set a realistic target and forget about eating just one type of food to accelerate weight loss, like excessive grapefruit as an example.

Eat small portions throughout the day rather than using up your calorie quota for the day in one large meal. This lessens your hunger pangs and eventually will help you to lose weight.

Replace high-fat snacks with low-fat snacks like apple, banana, carrots, chestnuts, cottage cheese, yoghurt, oranges, celery and crispbread. Avoid almonds, brazil nuts, cream cheese, milk chocolate, peanuts, cheddar cheese and chocolate biscuits.

Eat less meat but more potatoes and vegetables. Use skimmed milk instead of full-fat milk. If you need to use cream, use use single cream rather than double cream. Always use the leanest cut of meat and trim off the fat.

In order to lose weight effectively, you do not need to starve yourself or to go for boring foods. Just be mindful of the need for a balanced diet of protein, carbohydrate and fat as well as minerals and vitamins. Then you choose wisely what to eat from each type of food.

I have more tips and information on successful weight loss which you can read about in my other site:

We were told that this particular orphanage wasn’t receiving government help for now, they have to wait for 3 years. In the meantime life goes on and they have to eat right? God bless the guys who take care of these kids.

Now that the fireworks have settled down and the National Day Recipe Mega Sale is over, I thought I would share with you some pictures of fireworks. Thank you to those who have made the purchase.

I know these pictures are making you cringe. Imagine this! Thousands of people came to town to watch the fireworks that was held in the central district and facing the Marina Bay. We were smart, me and my girlfriend and our kids, we arrived like 2 hours earlier. And then the sight simply hit us, there were thousands who had arrived much earlier and been there like half a day earlier. Speaking of kiasu Singaporeans..:) yes, me being one of them…LOL!

If it was not for the sake of my princess, I would have turned back. We got a spot, and had a little picnic. We waited. Five minutes before 8pm, everyone in front of us ROSE! Despite groans from the back, no one paid attention. Like the warriors we mothers are, I grabbed my 9-year old princess and secured her on my left hip (and I am a short five foot nothing), and using my right arm to adjust the camera and well, as you can see, the photography could be better! I might mention it was a long time ago since I had to carry my little girl who ain’t so little any more and the left hand did seem dead for a week.

These pictures, my friends, ain’t award-winning but the imperfections captured a moment in time that can only be appreciated and understood by me and my kid:).
