Black Pepper Crab - Easy & Yummy!
Ingredients:
2 tbsp oil; 250 ml/1 cup water ; 1-1/2 tsp salt; 2 kg crabs, cleaned and quartered
Spice paste: 6cm fresh tumeric; 6cm old ginger; 30g black peppercorns; 25g garlic
Method:
1) Pound all the spice paste ingredients together until fine then heat the oil in a wok and saute the spice paste until fragrant.
2) Add the water, salt and crab. Mix the crab and spices thoroughly. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until the crabs change colour.
Serve hot!
Enough for 4 servings.
